The 50 Jahre is the current Summicron-M 50mm f/2 in anniversary dress: order number 11615, silver instead of the usual black anodising, and recorded in a single 2002 batch of 1,000 lenses. The optics are the standard ones, six elements in four groups on the 1977 computation by Walter Mandler, Erich Wagner and Garry Edwards, with an internal E39 filter thread and 0.7m minimum focus. The silver version weighs about 335 grams against 240 for the black lens. Short silver runs like this rarely come up.
