A chrome M3 converted to take Tom Abrahamsson's M2-pattern Rapidwinder, the trigger-wind baseplate his Vancouver workshop has built since 1989 to replace the Leicavit that Leitz dropped in 1966. It swaps in for the standard baseplate and advances film by a trigger under the camera at roughly two frames a second. M2 and later bodies accept it as made, but an M3 has to be adapted to fit, so this is a permanent conversion rather than a removable accessory. The camera itself is a 1963 single stroke M3.
