The Leicameter MR is the coupled clip-on meter for the M series, sliding into the accessory shoe and driving the shutter speed dial directly, so speed and aperture are set without leaving the camera. The CdS cell reads a narrow angle roughly matching a 90mm lens, which makes it far more selective than the earlier selenium Leicameters. This is the black paint finish, made to match black paint and black chrome bodies and much less often seen than the chrome version.
