Product Description

A matched pair. The M2-R was a run of 2,000 cameras sold through Leitz New York in 1969-70: an M2 with the 0.72x finder and 35, 50 and 90mm framelines, fitted with the M4 rapid loading spool that came out of the US Army KS-15(4) programme. The lens is the fourth 35mm Summicron, seven elements in five groups, 52,993 built between 1979 and 1999. Body and lens have both been repainted blue by Kanto Camera, an aftermarket refinish rather than a factory colour.
