Product Description

The Leica M2-R (US Army) is a rare 1967 military variant produced exclusively for the United States Army Signal Corps, factory code 10800, featuring the distinctive KOOHE engraving. Paired with the Summicron-M 35mm f/2 Version 4 “King of Bokeh,” a 6-element 4-group modified Double Gauss optical design manufactured in Wetzlar, Germany. This particular example carries the Kanto repaint in RAF Blue with the 7-element front group configuration that produces its signature smooth bokeh. Extremely scarce in this military specification and color finish.
