A six element, four group wide angle in Leitz's screw thread, the 35mm f/3.5 Summaron ran from 1946 to 1960 under the code SOONC and was the standard companion to a IIIc, IIIf or IIIg with a 35mm finder in the shoe. The diaphragm is a ten-blade click-stop unit closing to f/22, the field is 64 degrees across the diagonal, close focus is one metre and the chrome barrel weighs around 195 grams. Filters are A36 slip-on or E39 screw-in.
