The Leica 21mm Brightline Viewfinder (factory code SBKOO) is a rare accessory produced in extremely limited numbers for the Leica M system. This example has been factory-repainted in olive green, matching the military-style M cameras of the 1960s. Optically it employs a reverse Galilean finder with a precise 21mm bright-line frame and parallax correction. Its historical significance lies in its association with the earliest wide-angle M photography, particularly with the Super-Angulon and later Elmarit 21mm lenses. Only a few hundred units were made, making original SBKOO examples scarce.
