The SLOOZ, order number 12007, is Leitz's enclosed metal brightline finder for 28mm lenses, catalogued from 1960 to 1979 before the black plastic 12017 replaced it in 1980. The earliest examples are all chrome; later ones combine chrome with black metal. It drops into the accessory shoe and gives a bright 28mm frame on M and screw-mount bodies, whose built-in finders stop short of that angle. The all-chrome metal version is the one sought for period outfits.
