Leitz made right-angle finders to fit the eyepiece of its reflex housings and cameras, turning the line of sight through ninety degrees so that the photographer looks down into the finder with the camera held low or clamped to a copy stand. It makes ground-level and close-up work practical where the eyepiece would otherwise be pressed against the subject or the baseboard. On a Visoflex housing it effectively converts the outfit into a waist-level reflex.
