The Speed Panchro was Taylor-Hobson's fast cine prime, begun by Horace W. Lee at f/2 in 1930 and redesigned by Gordon Cook for the coated Series II sold from 1953, which covered 25mm to 100mm by 1958. The 75mm is the portrait length of the range, held in regard for the way it separates a face from its surroundings without hardening the edges. This example has been converted from its cine mount to Nikon F, so it can also be adapted onto mirrorless bodies.
