Minolta's RF Rokkor 250mm f/5.6 is the most compact mirror telephoto of its generation. Announced in 1979, it uses six elements in five groups around a catadioptric layout, stands 58mm long, weighs about 250 grams and focuses to 2.5 metres, with filters carried in a rear 39mm thread rather than up front. It was built for the Minolta SR bayonet; this one has been converted to Nikon F, an aftermarket modification rather than a factory variant, so it mounts on Nikon reflex bodies.
