The Leica IIIg (factory code GOOEF) is a 1956–1957 screw-mount rangefinder equipped with a 1.5× magnified combined viewfinder/rangefinder and parallax-corrected bright-line frames for 50 mm and 90 mm lenses. It features an all-metal body with cloth focal-plane shutter, 1–1/1000 s speeds plus bulb, and accepts every Leica M39 screw lens from 21 mm to 400 mm. This silver-chrome example retains its original Elmar 50 mm f/3.5 (4 elements in 3 groups, Tessar-type) or can be paired with any period Leitz optic. A- cosmetic condition.
