Product Description

Leitz finished only about 1,851 M2s in black paint against total production of more than 85,000, releasing them in small batches from December 1958, when the first 500 were delivered. 10300 is the order code for the body without a self-timer, the form in which most M2s left Wetzlar; only around 5,900 ever received the timer. The paint sits over brass rather than plated alloy, and the 0.72x finder shows 35, 50 and 90mm brightlines.
