The Leica M3 Early Double Stroke (factory code 10150/IGEMO) is the first production M-series rangefinder, introduced in 1954. Serial numbers in the 700000–785000 range denote the true double-stroke advance mechanism with 36-exposure counter. The body houses a 0.91× magnification rangefinder with 69.25 mm effective base length. This example retains the original IGEMO engraving on the top plate and features the early shutter-speed dial without the later single-stroke conversion. Cosmetic condition A.
