Announced in February 2020 and limited to 500 lenses worldwide, the Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH 'Leitz Wetzlar' marked 150 years since Ernst Leitz took charge of the Wetzlar optical works. Optically it is the standard floating-element ASPH: nine elements in five groups, one aspherical surface, 0.7m minimum focus, E46 filters. What separates it is the finish, with engravings inked in grey and white and Leitz Wetzlar on the front ring, made to partner the M10 Monochrom edition of the same series.
