This is the Leitz Super-Angulon 21mm f/4, made from 1958 to 1963 and the widest lens Leitz offered for the M at the time. The optical design came from Jos. Schneider: nine elements in four groups, a nine bladed diaphragm stopping to f/22, and two aperture scales set 180 degrees apart so the setting can be read from either side. Chrome barrel, E39 filters, 0.4m close focus, about 250g. The deep rear group keeps it off the M5 and CL and defeats TTL metering.
