The 21mm f/4 Super-Angulon was the first 21mm Leitz offered for the M, made from 1958 to 1963 to a Jos. Schneider design and built around nine elements in four groups. SUMOM, order number 11102, is the bayonet version supplied for the M cameras, as against SUOON 11002 in screw thread. It takes E39 screw or A42 slip-on filters, focuses to 0.4m and weighs about 250g. The rear group protrudes so far into the body that the lens cannot be used on the M5 or CL.
