The 90mm f/4 M-Rokkor was the long lens of the compact Leitz Minolta CL and later Minolta CLE outfits, an M-bayonet telephoto scaled to a body much smaller than an M. The earlier lenses were made by Leitz in Germany from 1973 and are marked as such; the CLE-era version that followed around 1980 was built by Minolta in Japan. At f/4 it stays slim and light in a way no faster 90 manages, and it mounts on any Leica M body.
