Converted from the Prominent bayonet to Leica M, this Nokton f/1.5 couples to the rangefinder of any M body; the mount it was built for fits no other camera, which is why conversions like this are common. It is aftermarket work rather than a factory M lens. Optically it remains the 1950s Voigtlaender design, warm in colour and low in contrast at full aperture with a soft glow and a swirling edge field, drawing conventionally once stopped down.
