Carl Zeiss designed the 100mm f/3.5 Planar for the Hasselblad V system in 1968, and it stayed in the catalogue for three decades as the most highly corrected lens in the range: five elements in four groups, essentially free of distortion, and preferred over the 80mm Planar for copy, architectural and technical work. It takes Bayonet 50 accessories. This is the late C T* build collectors call the steel rim, identified by the bright metal ring around the front of an otherwise black barrel.
