The Kinoptik Apochromat Focale 75mm f/2 is a rare French high-speed telephoto lens produced in the 1950s for 35mm cinematography and stills. It employs a modified 6-element in 4-group apochromatic design derived from the Petzval formula, using special lanthanum glass to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. Originally equipped with Leica screw mount, this example has been factory-modified to Leica M bayonet with accurate rangefinder coupling. Extremely scarce; fewer than 200 units are believed to have been manufactured.
