Product Description

M6 production opened in July 1984 with a batch of 2,000 cameras, and the early black bodies are the ones closest to the M4-P the model replaced. Of 158,309 M6 classics built through to 2003, 82,831 left in black. Top and bottom plates are painted zinc, the cloth shutter is mechanical throughout its 1 to 1/1000s range, and metering is a centre-weighted TTL cell read off two LED arrows drawing on a CR 1/3N lithium cell. The finder is 0.72x with framelines from 28 to 135mm.
