The MP Anthracite was a 2004 special edition of 600 cameras, order number 10316, finished in dark grey anthracite instead of the usual black paint or silver chrome. Mechanically it is an ordinary MP: brass top and base plates, a 0.72x rangefinder with TTL metering, a fully mechanical shutter from 1s to 1/1000s plus B, and a body of 138 x 77 x 38 mm weighing about 585 g. Its run sits between the 500-camera Hermes edition and the 1,000-set LHSA Hammertone of 2003.
