Order number 11822 is the fourth version of the 50mm f/1 Noctilux, the one with the hood built into the barrel so nothing has to be carried or clamped on, over an E60 filter thread. The optics are unchanged from Mandler and Bechmann's 1970 design: seven elements in six groups, true focal length 52.4mm, half and full click stops from f/1 to f/16, one metre close focus. Leica built 6,595 of this version between 1993 and 2004, out of 17,535 f/1 Noctiluxes altogether.
