A 35mm f/2.8 Summaron in M bayonet whose spectacles have been removed. Leitz catalogued 11106, SIMWO, as the goggled version for the M3; without the goggles it becomes a compact plain 35mm suited to the M2, M4 and later bodies that carry their own 35mm frameline. That is an aftermarket modification rather than a factory variant. Optically nothing changes: six elements in four groups, E39 or A42 filters. Leitz built about 30,400 bayonet Summarons between 1958 and 1974.
