Catalogued SAMWO, later 11108, this is the goggled M3 version of the original 35mm Summicron, its auxiliary finder optics converting the M3's 0.91x 50mm frame to 35mm coverage and bringing minimum focus down to 0.65m. The optic is the celebrated eight elements in six groups, ten blades to f/16, E39 filters, made between 1958 and 1969 with about 36,000 bayonet examples across both forms. Wetzlar-built barrels are engraved Made in Germany and belong to the later part of the run.
