The fastest wide-angle in the Leica R catalogue, a ten element, nine group design with a built-in sliding hood, E67 filter thread, 0.5m minimum focus and a substantial 685g. Order code 11337 is the final ROM version, its extra contact strip passing focal length and aperture information to the R8 and R9. Leitz recorded 6,492 lenses across all three catalogue numbers between 1984 and 2009, so the ROM run accounts for only part of that figure.
