Schneider-Kreuznach's 21mm f/3.4 Super-Angulon, order number 11103, replaced the f/4 in 1963 and stayed in the Leitz catalogue until 1980, with fewer than 5,970 built. Eight elements in four groups cover 92 degrees with the geometric correction that symmetrical wide angles manage better than retrofocus designs. Chrome finish ended in 1967, so black accounts for the great majority of the run. Filters are Series VII or E48 and framing is done through an accessory 21mm finder rather than the rangefinder.
