Schneider-Kreuznach built the 21mm f/4 Super-Angulon for Leitz from 1958, the first ultra-wide made for the Leica rangefinder and the lens that put 92 degrees of coverage on 35mm film. Guenther Klemt's design uses nine elements in four groups, stopping down in full clicks to f/22 through a nine-blade diaphragm and focusing to 0.4 m, with A42 and E39 filter fittings. The chrome-plated brass barrel measures only 51 by 27 mm and weighs 250 g, and framing is done through the accessory SBKOO finder in the shoe.
