Product Description

Leica issued 150 of these outfits in 1995 for the twentieth anniversary of Leica Historica e.V., the German collectors' society founded in 1975. The camera is a chrome M6 covered in blue leather in place of the usual black, the top plate engraved LEICA HISTORICA 1975-1995 and numbered within the run; a matching engraved chrome Summicron-M 50mm f/2 completed the set, catalogued under order number 10421. Blue covering is otherwise almost unknown on an M6, and intact examples surface rarely.
