The Angenieux 35-70mm f/2.5-3.3 is a rare manual zoom lens for Nikon F mount produced in limited numbers during the late 1970s. Its optical formula consists of 13 elements in 9 groups, built around a modified vari-focal design derived from Angenieux’s professional cine optics. One of the fastest 35-70mm zooms of its era, it features constant physical length and independent aperture and focus rings. Highly sought after for its exceptional contrast and flare resistance, fewer than 800 units were manufactured for still photography.
