Product Description

The ZM line put current Zeiss glass and coatings into Leica M mount, and the Biogon 2.8/25 is one of its most admired members. Biogon is Ludwig Bertele's near-symmetrical wide-angle type, first drawn in 1934 and rebuilt in the early 1950s to cover very wide fields almost free of distortion; at 25mm it takes in 82 degrees. Straight lines stay straight to the corner, which is why architecture and reportage users reach for it. This is the black finish version.
