Product Description

Dallmeyer's 2 inch f/1.5 was the fastest thing the London firm made for cine work, and the version engraved simply Anastigmat, before the Speed name appeared on the barrel, is the one collectors call pre-Speed. It is scarcer than the Super-Six and shares that family's character in a stronger form: a soft veil of glow wide open over detail that is genuinely there, tightening into hard, bold imaging by f/2.8. Originally a cine lens, this one has been converted to Leica M.
