Fujinon lenses in the Leica 39mm screw thread are among the least familiar Japanese optics made for that mount, seen far less often than the Canon and Nikkor equivalents and rarely sold outside Japan. This 35mm f/2 is a fast wide angle for a screw mount body, or for M and mirrorless cameras through an adapter. Fuji's coating work was well regarded, and the lens gives clean, neutral contrast rather than the warmth of period German glass.
