Product Description

Kinoptik was founded in Paris in 1932 and turned its attention to cinema optics in the 1940s. The Fulgior 50mm f/1.3 belongs to that period, a very fast French objective supplied in Cameflex mount and also fitted to the Rectaflex, and it is among the least often seen lenses the firm made. This example has been converted from its original cine mount to Leica M for use on M bodies. Wide open it holds the plane of focus crisply while backgrounds fall away.
