Product Description

Announced in 2017 and limited to 100 cameras worldwide, this special edition of the M (Typ 262) has its top plate and baseplate machined from solid aluminium and anodised red, matching the red anodised APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH issued the year before. It was sold only through Leica Stores and Boutiques. The red is a factory anodised finish, not an aftermarket refinish, and technically the camera is the standard M (Typ 262) beneath it.
