SOOIC is the screw-mount collapsible Summicron, Leitz's first f/2 standard lens and the beginning of the Summicron name. Leica Wiki records the whole first-generation family, collapsible, rigid and Dual Range together, at 253,314 lenses between 1951 and 1967, the screw-mount collapsible ending in 1957. It focuses to one metre, takes E39 filters and weighs about 220 grams in screw mount, and the design is credited to Gustav Kleinberg and Otto Zimmermann on a patent of July 1950. It fits any Leica thread body.
