Order code 11310 is the black fourth-version 35mm Summicron, made from 1979 to 1999 in 52,993 examples and long nicknamed the King of Bokeh for the way out-of-focus areas dissolve without hard edges. Walter Mandler's seven elements in five groups run f/2 to f/16 through a ten-blade diaphragm, focus to 0.7m and take E39 filters. Canadian examples were built by Ernst Leitz Canada in Midland, Ontario. At roughly 160g and 26 by 52mm it is among the smallest fast 35s for the M.
