Order number 11137 is the silver chrome version of the pre-aspherical Summicron-M 90mm f/2, Walter Mandler's compact design produced from 1980 to 1998 across 29,853 lenses in both finishes. Five elements in four groups and an eleven-blade diaphragm give the smooth, gently rounded drawing that made it a portrait standard before the APO-ASPH replaced it, with 1m minimum focus. Chrome over brass makes the silver noticeably heavier than the black version, and it was sold in far smaller numbers.
