Leica made the titanium finish version 2 Summilux in a single batch of 1,000 lenses in 1991 under order code 11860, produced to accompany the titanium M6. Optically it is the standard version 2: Walter Mandler's seven element, five group f/1.4 design, focusing to 1m and taking E41 filters. Only the finish separates it, and 1,000 lenses is a small fraction of the roughly 28,350 version 2 Summiluxes built between 1967 and 1995. Complete titanium outfits are increasingly scarce.
