Product Description

The FISON, catalogued as 12510, is Leitz's clamp-on hood for the 5cm Elmar, and it fits the 5cm Anastigmat and Hektor as well. It slides over the lens barrel and clamps in place rather than screwing into the filter thread, so a filter can stay fitted underneath. In chrome it is the correct period accessory for a screw-mount Leica outfit built around the collapsible Elmar, and it is among the parts most often missing from those outfits today.
