Product Description

Leitz assigned 233,209 serial numbers to the M3 between 1954 and 1966, and the first cameras came from a single 1954 run of 10,000 bodies. Those earliest examples are double stroke, needing two short throws of the lever to advance a frame, and predate both the frameline preview lever introduced during 1955 and the metal film pressure plate of 1957. The finder is the M3's 0.91x, the largest Leitz fitted to an M, with 50, 90 and 135mm framelines.
