The fastest lens ever made for the Hasselblad V system, the Planar 110mm f/2 carries no leaf shutter and works only on the focal plane 200 and 2000 series bodies, where its very shallow depth of field on 6x6 gives a subject separation nothing else in the system approaches. The FE version adds the electrical contacts that pass aperture data to the metering of the 202, 203 and 205 cameras. For many owners it is the reason to run a 200 series Hasselblad at all.
