Product Description

Leica marked 150 years of photography in 1989 with a platinum-plated M6 sold as a set with a matching Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4. The factory list records a single platinum batch of 1,000 cameras that January, and the Leica Wiki gives 1,051 platinum M6 bodies in all against 82,831 black and 50,876 silver. Mechanically it is a standard M6, with the 0.72x finder and TTL metering, and the lens is the pre-aspherical second version.
