Product Description

The Leicameter MR is Leitz's shoe-mounted CdS exposure meter for the M cameras, introduced in 1966 and produced in updated MR-4 form until 1987. It couples to the shutter speed dial so that only the aperture needs transferring to the lens, covers ISO 6 to 1600 and measures 71 by 31 by 20mm at about 76g. The slide switch on top clears the M4 rewind crank. This is the silver chrome version, the right match for chrome M2, M3 and M4 bodies. Original cells were 1.35V mercury PX625.
