The Fulgior 50mm f/1.3 is among the least often seen lenses Kinoptik made, a fast normal from the Paris firm founded in 1932 by Georges Grosset and Georges Perthuis, supplied for the Italian Rectaflex reflex system. Kinoptik's reputation rests on hard correction and strongly saturated colour, and at f/1.3 the Fulgior adds a rendering that holds centrally while the surrounding field turns away quickly. This example has been converted from its original mount to Sony E, for use on NEX and later E-mount bodies. Very few surface.
